Water Basin : A pedicure just isn't the same without relaxing the feet in a foot bath. Use some essential oils to add some aromatherapy treatment as well.
Nail Polish Remover : Remove old toenail polish with a nail polish remover. Nail polish remover can be damaging to the nails, so get a professional quality nail polish remover to speed up results.
Foam Toe Separators : This funny looking tool will separate the toes so that nail polish does not get all over the house or the feet. Tissue paper wrapped between the toes or cotton balls stuck between the toes will work as well.
Cotton Balls : When using nail polish remover, it is best to use cotton balls. Remnants of the cotton balls will be needed to wrap around the end of the orange sticks. Also, cotton balls or facials tissues can be used in place of toe separators when adding nail polish to the toes.
Nail Polish : A bright fun color is great for the toes, plus it will draw attention to the perfect pedicure. Remember to use a base coat to prevent staining as well as a top coat to prevent chipping.
Toenail Clippers : Toenail clippers are bigger than a nail clipper; they will cut the toenail in a healthier way than using a regular nail clipper. Make sure to cut straight across to avoid hangnails.
Nail Filer : Lightly file the edge of the toenails to remove a jagged edge. There is really no need to shape the nail (unless it is difficult to cut); just smooth it.
Nail Brush : The best way to remove dirt and left over polish from the toenails is to use a nail brush. One for the toes should be a little wider and firmer.
Orange Stick : Use the orange stick to push back cuticles. An orange stick can also be used to clean underneath the toenail.
Foot File: Remove built-up calluses with a foot file. A great foot file is the PedEgg. It not only will smooth the feet, but it will also store the dry skin, which makes it much easier to clean.
Foot Scrub : A foot scrub will help remove any more dead skin that can be left after using a foot file. Or if the feet are not very callused, then a foot scrub might be all that is needed.
Foot Lotion : Keep skin soft by applying a foot lotion. Most companies have come out with a lotion specific to the feet. It will help ease tired muscles and keep feet softer.
Toe Separators : This funny looking tool will separate the toes so that nail polish does not get all over the house or the feet. Tissue paper wrapped between the toes or cotton balls stuck between the toes will work as well.
